Timeline is a tool that allows us to animate things within our game (cutscenes, sequences, animating enemies, etc)

Window > Sequencing > Timeline

Create separate game object Timeline
- empty object
- Click on that object, then go to the timeline window, and click
create

Click on + and add animation track
- Drag the object in here. Then click recording!

Then you can click
Gameobject > Align with View
to snap your gameobject to wherever you are -
To help you calculate how much time it will take for the player to move, you can go to
Edit > Preferences > Colors
and set the grid to another color
Editing animation
To edit animation, click edit in animation window
- you can middle click to slide, and drag box everything to click all at once to squish or expand everything
Curves
- Click on the button next to recording, and you can see the curves on the x,y,z position
