- He decided he will figure out calculus, he spent 2 hrs in class, 2 hrs in math center, 6-8 hrs self study, for 5 days. It made him from worst student to objectively the best student
- he learned that when something is super difficult, if he just have time and determination, he can achieve anything

- joined netflix, job was groovy backend for 9 months (which primeagen says is the worst language lmao)
- he took the opportunity to just..do the best → success (no production outages). not a single person wanted to work on this
- boss happy, also asked him to rewrite the data structure (groovy) which no one wants to fix, and ALSO did it well
- BET ON YOURSELF THAT YOU CAN SOLVE SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW
- also grow the wisdom to know what is valuable

- figure out what they want, crush what they want
- with lil bit of hard work and some time, you can explore a LOT of things
- take the time, see what the job require
- most companies dont hire the pest person EVER, they want someone who can understand how to solve problems
- meet ppl
- discord, bounce ideas and discuss things, go to meetups, talk about tech, practice
- find companies u dont really care getting hired and become goot at interviews and the art of practicing your ideas
- Look at this as an ADVENTURE and not just some injustice
